Yummy and healthy snack

This is another great thing from the garden: Zucchini and yellow crooked-neck squash. It's really good steamed with a little salt. Next year I want to grow the other kind of squash though...something like butternut or acorn I think. I want the kind you can cut in half and throw in the oven, then eat the insides with butter and brown sugar. That is more like a treat than a vegetable!

You are a domestic goddess! These posts are so above and beyond my knowledge of gardening and cooking:) Way to go! Your tree is so cute- I hope it continues to go well!

I've mixed those two squashes together, too, and added mushrooms and onion with a sprinkling of Mrs. Dash tomato, basil, garlic seasoning. It is really pretty good and no fat, using PAM spray in the skillet. It's so nice to have the produce from your garden to experiment. ♥

I need to remember to be prepared with a full stomach when I come to your blog. That cake looks delectable. I remember one time when I was at your house and I think Summer and I made black bottom cupcakes and we had nearly eaten ALL of them before I left the next day!!! So good- I am excited to try that as a cake. And your tree is so cute. And your salsa looks delicious, and the fajitas!!!! Really... I need to find a place where I can grow me a garden next year!!!
